Yes! Attending Reunion
Comments:

I graduated from NAU with bachelor degrees in music education and piano performance and then taught for about 5 years in the Flagstaff Public Schools as a music teacher before having children. When my first child was born, I decided to "stay home" as a mom, and finished my Master's degree in music education during this time. Now I am phasing back into my career as a teacher, now at a public Waldorf charter school, where my kids attend.

I perform as a pianist/organist at Trinity Heights United Church, accompanist for the Flagstaff Master Chorale, substitute pianist/organist for the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra and any other worthwile performing opportunites I can fit into my busy schedule, my favorites being musical theater and jazz.

I just finished a two year term as the PTA president at the kid's school. I had many student council flashbacks during that time, mostly when I am changing the letters on the marquee in front of the school. I just agreed to tutor some of the 8th graders in algebra and now I expect to have Mr. Hurst flashbacks as well.

I have taught fitness classes at the Flagstaff Athletic Club since 1992, doing a bit of everything, lately lots of strength classes, Pilates and yoga.

I have stayed incredibly busy through it all and luckily I found a very supportive and understanding husband, Steve. He manages a local independent car repair shop and he specializes in calming people down when they have car stress. We have both lived in Flag for 20 years and met while singing in the University Chorale.

My three boys are in 4th, 2nd and Kindergarten this year. Currently they are obsessed with all things LEGO and John Williams soundtracks. We feel lucky to live in a beautiful place among many inspiring people.

I am looking forward very much to revisiting Globe. My parents moved away in the early '90s and I have only visited a handful of times. Each time has been a blast - about two years ago I visited Globe with my sister Liz and some members of the class of '90. We stayed at the Dream Manor Inn while it was still under construction. It was a wonderful weekend, as the reunion will be as well!

School Story:

Falling asleep during first hour Calculus and Mr. Hurst throwing a piece of chalk at me. Experimenting with NO-DOZ after this. Now I can't live without my morning coffee.

Friday nights with the games, dances, parties, always a blast!

My freshman year I actually was part of the first girl's cross country team at GHS. I was definitely the slowest of the five girls on that team.

Practicing cheerleading on the front lawn. Sometimes I have a recurring dream that I am about to cheer for a game and I don't know any of the moves.
