I Drove quarter midgets myself in the 1950's
On the Alaska Speedway quarter midget track
that my father and I convinced the "Alaska Race Car Owners and Drivers Assn. (ARCOCA) to construct.
I Was a member of the group that built the first (and only I believe) quarter midget track in Canada,
in British Columbia, in the city of Langley,
in 1980.
That track is still functioning, and has held more than one Grand National. I was active in Quarter midgeting starting in 1957 until after the year 2,000.
