Gregory “Greg” Gardner,54 year old Goodwell, Oklahoma resident, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 28, 2016 at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas.

Greg was born September 18, 1961 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Dr. R. Lynn “Doc” Gardner and Gloria (Marteney) Gardner. Graduating from from Goodwell High School with the class of 1979, Greg went on to pursue his degree in Biology from Panhandle State University in 1983. Greg continued his education earning his Masters Degree in 1986 in Microbiology from West Texas State in Canyon, Texas.

Greg spent most of his life in the Oklahoma panhandle and southwest Kansas teaching all age groups from high school to college. He was currently teaching Biology and Chemistry at Seward County Community College and Vocational School.

He was preceded in death by his parents and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Greg enjoyed his family, computers, technology and his dogs.

He was survived by one daughter, Abigail Marie Gardner of Goodwell, Oklahoma; one sister, Elizabeth Gardner-McBee and husband Darrell of Laverne, Oklahoma; one brother, Richard Lynn Gardner Jr. and wife Kammy of Gay, Georgia. Greg is also survived by two nieces Andrea McBee and Dana McBee; one nephew Ryan McBee. He is also survived by his beloved dogs, Lady and Daisy. He will be missed by all of us.
