Leon A. Stiles Jr.
MACOMB Leon A. “Bolliver" Stiles Jr., 31 of 73 Turner Road, died Monday, September 1, 1997 at his home.
Mr. Stiles had worked at Gouverneur Talc Co since 1988. Previously, he had worked at Riverside Iron Works.
Born April 19, 1966, in Gouverneur, the son of Leon A. Sr. and Freda J. Wear Stiles, he was a 1984 graduate of Gouverneur High School. He lived in Fowler before moving to Macomb in 1991.
A marriage to Rhonda Hodgdon ended in divorce.
Mr. Stiles was an avid sportsman and enjoyed whitetail deer hunting and fishing.
Surviving besides his mother, Gouverneur, are two daughters, Jessica and Jennifer, both of Macomb, and two sisters, Tina M. Stiles, Fowler, and Tracey L. Stiles, Gouverneur.
The funeral was held Friday at French Funeral Home, Gouverneur with the Rev. Alan D. Kinney, Gouverneur United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hailesboro Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
