RUSSELL- Kimberly K. DeVito, age 35, died Wednesday, August 22, 2001 at her home.
The funeral for Mrs. DeVito was held at French Funeral Home, Gouverneur, with the Rev. Timothy E. Janzen officiating. Burial was in Hailesboro Cemetery. Mrs. DeVito was a member of the International Laborers Union Local 322, Watertown Massena, and was a mason tender for Sal Masonry, Syracuse, for several years. She lived in Fowler before moving to Russell in 1994. She enjoyed the outdoors, working on her hobby farm, raising miniature horses and other animals, and was active in 4-H, showing cattle and horses. Born August 9, 1966, in Watertown, daughter of Ivan F. Sr. and Kathleen F. Denesha Shampine, she graduated in 1984 from Gouverneur Central School and attended Canton Agricultural and Technical College, where she studied veterinary science.
She married Joseph C. DeVito, Jr. on June 17, 2000, at her parents' home in Fowler with the Rev. Ronald Showers, pastor of New Beginnings Assembly of God, Edwards, officiating.
Surviving besides her husband are a son, Matthew I. and a daughter, Shaylyn M. both at home; her mother, now Kathleen F. Mcintosh, Fowler; her stepfather, William G. Mcintosh, Fowler; a brother, Ivan F. Shampine Jr., Richville; two sisters, Sherry L. Warne, Havasu City, AZ and Mrs. Donald (Christine M.) Klock, Theresa; nieces, nephews and cousins.

SAD... SO YOUNG.......... I GOT BACK IN CONTACTED HER BEFORE SHE DIED. WHEN I TRIED TO CONTACT HER AGAIN I COULDN'T FIND HER ANYMORE... NEVER KNEW WHAT HAPPENED TO HER.

LIVING IN MICHIGAN I MISS ALOT OF THE DETAILS! .........

SO GLAD FOR THIS WEB SITE... TO SEE WHAT'S GOING ON & FIND LONG LOST FRIENDS!

REMEMBERED SPENDING LOTS OF TIME WITH HER AND LAURIE ZEHR.... REALLY LOOK BACK AND MISS THOSE TIMES!

NEVER SEE HORSES TO THIS DAY WITHOUT THINKING OF KIM!
