I moved back AZ! I am currently working as a data center tech for Go Daddy. I'm working nights right now so I don't get out much to generate any stories worth noting here, sorry :/

For all of you who know/knew my mother, Kathy, she says hello and is happy to see how well all of you are doing.
Now that I have recovered physically I feel oddly peaceful and rejuvinated. It was so nice to see everyone!

After high school I tried UND for a bit and found after 13 years of school my heart wasn’t in it. I went to work for Champion Auto Parts out on Gateway Drive. Then I got some wanderlust and moved to Minneapolis for a year. Then I came back to the Forx for a year then off to Tempe.
I moved to Tempe, AZ in 1994 to go to Arizona State University and major in Economics. I grew tired of the student’s life and living on Ramen Noodles. I ended up leaving ASU after being offered a computer network administrator position at a company in north Phoenix in the spring of 1996. I left that position a year later to work for a small consulting firm. While there I flourished, learning everything I could about computer networking and traveling all over the southwest. While with that company I traveled to Georgia and got to work on setting up the servers for one of the first online streaming video sites, Streaming Faith, which offers faith based programming 24/7/365.
In 2001, with much experience under my belt, I left that firm and started my own. I liked the freedom and responsibility of being my own boss initially. After three years I grew tired of wearing all the hats and in 2004 I decided it was time for change, sold my consulting business and moved to Bismarck to finish my business degree at the University of Mary. I had nine months and 32 credits to go.
At my favorite coffee shop for studying one morning I struck up a conversation with the guy at the table next to me. It turns out he is a doctor in the National Guard and had just returned from Iraq. When not in fatigues he works in the ER at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck. He told about how medicine wasn’t his first career and previously he had been a police officer. I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do with the degree I was earning as I really didn’t want to go back into the IT field. The idea of going into medicine grabbed my focus and a couple of weeks later I decided I wanted to become a physician. I changed my path at the university and jumped into the pre-med prerequisite sciences with a sense of motivation I haven’t felt in a long time.
I ended up spending 3 years at UMary and with all the crazy starts and turns my education made over the years I finally finished with a BA in Business Administration, minor in Chemistry, concentrations in Economics, Finance, and pre medicine encompassing a comical 191 credits.
I applied at the UND medical school and was granted an interview. Of the 186 interviewees I place about the middle and have an outside chance of making it in as an alternate this year. In May I was invited to interview at A.T. Still University Medical school. I thought the interview went well, they on the other hand didn't. I'm taking the GRE in a couple of weeks and going to apply to grad school this fall to bide my time until I can try med school again.
