Sally Fladland (Rr) (Miller)
For those of you who were not able to attend the reunion, you were missed! For all of you who were able to attend, it was wonderful to reconnect with so many faces of the past! The planning committee went above and beyond to plan a reunion that would be enjoyable for everyone! There was so much energy in the room (and hallway, and bar!) at the Friday night social! Chatting with a beverage in hand (or not!) by the Country Club pool was a perfect way to start the Saturday night events! The buffet dinner was delicious, and the special program was fabulous! There was so much talent showcased throughout the program...eloquent speaking, quick-witted humor to keep us all laughing, amazing musical skills, and wonderful vocal skills! The tribute to classmates who have passed away was greatly appreciated and beautifully delivered. It was fun (and frustrating) to try to guess the songs and artists of the 70's! Now...how about making those great RR/Central T-shirts available for purchase??? (For those of us who couldn't remember song titles and artists if our lives depended on it! I easily remember lyrics, but that wasn't any help!). What a memorable weekend...one I will treasure forever! I regret that I didn't have a chance to talk to everyone I would've liked to, but for those of you who spent a few minutes or a longer time visiting with me...thank you! The Class of 1974, both Red River and Central, is an awesome group! Grand Forks will always hold a special place in my heart, and I am grateful for friendships that have withstood the test of time!
