Holly Erickson Grinde passed away September 21, 2003 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN from cancer.

Holly Rae Grinde, 46, of Grand Forks, died Sunday, September 21, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Holly was born on October 26, 1956, to Floyd and Hattie (Bergan) Erickson in Michigan, ND. Holly grew up in Grand Forks and attended schools at Winship, Valley Junior High, and Central High School. She graduated from Wahpeton School of Science with a background in Computer Programming. She married Doug Grinde on January 24, 1975, at University Lutheran Church in Grand Forks. She began working for Minnkota Power in 1976 where she has worked the last 27 years.

Holly enjoyed spending time with her children at their summer lake home. She also enjoyed painting, walking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.

Holly is survived by, husband, Doug Grinde, Grand Forks; son, Jason (Georgina) Grinde, Bemidji, MN; daughter, Haley (Darin) Grosz, Elbow Lake, MN; mother, Hattie Erickson, Grand Forks; sister, Judy (Keith) Loepp, Oakes, ND; grandchildren, Braden Grinde; two nephews, Deven Loepp and Erik Loepp; one niece, Jenna Loepp; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by father, Floyd.

Funeral services: Thursday, September 25, 2003, at 10:30a.m. at University Lutheran Church 2122 University Ave. in Grand Forks.

Visitation: Wednesday, September 24, from 5 -8 p.m. with a 8:00p.m. prayer service at the Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. in Grand Forks.

Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks.
