Obituary

Mary Evelyn Jodock, 49, passed away Friday, December 31, 2004, at her home in Grand Forks. Mary was born on March 27, 1955 in Fargo ND. At 22 months she was adopted by Wilmar & Evelyn Wolfgram. Mary grew up in and attended schools in Grand Forks. She was confirmed at Trinity Free Lutheran Church in 1969. She graduated from Central High School in 1974. In 1974-1975 she attended the Association Free Lutheran Bible School in Minneapolis. She later attended Northwestern College in East Grand Forks for Clerical Nursing. She also attended many other classes in cooking, photography display, art, and others. Mary began nursing at the 2 North Care Central. She also worked at St. Michael's nursing unit. Later she began working in food service. She began working at Squire's Hall at UND. She worked for Burger King for over 6 years, before taking a job with her current employer, Culver's. Mary loved to meet new people. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and babysitting. Her love for children was amazing. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mary married Oliver Jodock on September 16, 1989. They had one son, Andrew. Andrew graduated from Central High School and is now employed in Grand Forks. Mary was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. She has helped with Sunday school, the youth group, and other groups and committees. She is survived by her: Husband: Oliver Jodock, Grand Forks; Son: Andrew Jodock, Grand Forks; Father: Wilmar Wolfgram, Grand Forks; Sisters: Doris (Anthony) Coleman, Grand Forks; Clara (Miguel) Rivera, Lutz, FL; Brother: Wayne Wolfgram, Grand Forks; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by: Mother Evelyn Wolfgram, Grand Forks. Funeral services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 1616 S. 17th St. in Grand Forks. Visitation: Tuesday, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home with a 7 p.m. prayer service at the Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42 St. in Grand Forks, and an hour before the service in the church.
