Barbara Ann Denault, age 58 of Grafton, ND passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Altru Hospital of Grand Forks. Barbara Ann Elizabeth Novak was born February 17, 1955 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Stanley and Evelyn (Knaus) Novak. She grew and attended schools in Grand Forks, ND. Following her education she lived in Grand Forks, Park River, Fordville and Grafton, ND. She was currently working as a life skills trainer at the Life Skills and Transitional Center in Grafton. Barbara was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Grafton. She loved to play bingo, was a wonderful seamstress and provided day care for many. Barbara is survived by her children: Sara Novak, Oklahoma City, OK; Tyrone ( Rachel) Denault, Grafton, ND and Melissa (Ryan) Denault Schaf, Park River, ND; five grandchildren: Dominique, Dezja, Destiny, Zeek and Kayden, her father, Stanley Novak, Park River, ND; siblings: Veronica (David) Anderson, Park River, ND; Darrel Novak, Jamestown, ND; Francie (Jerry) Linneman, Reynolds, ND; and Chris Novak, Warsaw, ND; one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her mother Evelyn. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Warsaw. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-6 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
