Bruce Byars 

January 18, 1954 - February 14, 2021

Bruce W. Byars, 67, of Grand Forks, N.D., passed away on February 14, 2021, following an intense, brief battle with cancer.

Bruce was born and raised in Grand Forks, N.D.  He attended and graduated from Red River High School.  Following high school, Bruce enlisted in the U.S. Army.  He was later honorably discharged.

Bruce found his passion for teaching while attending the University of North Dakota to obtain his Yaris Doctorate Degree.  While attending law school, he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta fraternity.  He graduated from U.N.D. in 2000.

Bruce became a licensed attorney who loved tort law, and as a professor strove to give his students the best education possible.

He is survived by his wife, Sibylle; daughter, Elizabeth; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
