OBITUARY:

NEWHOUSE Mr. Michael Newhouse, age 38, of Grand Rapids passed away on Thursday September 27, 2012. Surviving are his parents Richard and Sharon Newhouse; sister Jill and Mike Waalkes; nephews Alex and Sam Waalkes; his grandmother Rose Cooke; also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his 12 year friend, a mans best friend, Crunchy. Mike had a great sense of humor that many enjoyed and Mike was extremely musically inclined and played many musical instruments. Friends and relatives can visit with his family at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes, Van’t Hof Chapel, 851 Leonard St NW, on Sunday September 30, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and one hour prior to the service on Monday. The funeral service will be held on Monday October 1st at 11:00 AM at the chapel. Contributions to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
