I met Dennis in the 8th grade at Ridgeview. We became good friends and shared many interests. I was in the Navy when I heard about his passing. I am sad that he is gone.
Dennis Bowman and David Ander were my two closest friends in elementary school, at Alger Heights Elementary. I met Dennis in 5th grade, who decided to become my friend instantly, no questions asked. I had issues, one of which was a skin allergy which went undiagnosed, being a red-headed very light-skinned kid. Dennis was kind enough to give my back a good scratching occasionally. Whatever Dennis and I ever talked about he was always 100% loving and caring. He didn't see flaws in me, or other people. That's the kind of person he was. He was always loving and caring, and happy to give, because that's the kind of heart he had.
