“Mrs. Lynn M. Spencer, age 53, passed away Saturday,
August 23, 2008. Born in St. Paul, MN, she grew up in Grand Rapids, and
was a 1972 graduate of Ottawa Hills High School. Lynn attended MSU, graduating
in 1976 with a BS degree.

 

In 1981 Lynn graduated from the National
Chiropractic College in Lombard, IL where she taught chemistry and later ran
a successful clinic in Connecticut. With a life long interest in academics, Lynn
later attended the University of Connecticut, School of Law, receiving her Juris
Doctorate. She was a practicing attorney and a member of both the Michigan
Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association.

 

With all her
accomplishments, nothing gave Lynn greater joy in life than spending time
with her children. Lynn is survived by her husband, David; children, Erica and
Jordan; parents, John and Yvonne Conroy of Grand Rapids; brothers, John (Sandy)
Conroy of East Grand Rapids and David (Becky) of Ada; sisters, Diane (Bruce)
Zeeuw of East Grand Rapids, Karen (David Russell) Conroy of Holt MI; and nieces
and nephews.”
