Knape, Shelley 7/18/1954 - 9/9/2022 Grand Rapids
Shelley passed quietly today after a year long battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving children Joseph, Sarah and
Charlie Talboys and Michael and Arminda Knape and wonderful grandchildren Isabelle, Ben and Morgan Jean. Also surviving is
her beautiful Mother Edith Rashewsky and
sisters Lisa Rashewsky and Dorothy Berg
and many nieces, nephews and dear, lifelong friends. Shelley's passions in life were
loving and strengthening her extended
family, spending time with our
grandchildren and celebrating lifelong
friendships with a giggling Birthday Club
lunch or spirited Mah-Jongg or Cribbage
game. She will be sorely missed by everyone that knew her engaging smile and infectious laugh, including her loving husband Tom of 42 years. Her funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 3:30 PM at Congregation Ahavas Israel, 2727 Michigan Street NE. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
