Sheafor, Thomas (Tom) 8/19/1954 - 4/14/2022 Thomas (Tom) Sheafor, age 67, of Belmont, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Taylor and his brother Warren Sheafor. Tom is survived by his wife, Jan; their children Ryan and Chelsea Sheafor, Matt and Leslie Sheafor, Kyle Sheafor along with his two grandchildren and loves of his life, James and Madelynn. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Lou Taylor; brother Ron and Pat Merchant along with his many nieces, nephews and extended family. Tom left this world doing what he loved, which was golfing with his three sons. It was the first night of their golf league together, which was the highlight of his year. As a father, he was second to none. His priority was always to be present and involved in his boys' life, and he was very successful in doing so. He deeply loved his family and was never intimidated to share the pride he felt. Tom shot trap and skeet as a member at Madison Square Sportsmen's Club for over 35 years. Madison Square was a second family to him, with many relationships within the club. Everyone that knew Tom, knew that his circle of people was very large, and extended many places near and far. Being a true extrovert, he developed a long list of people he considered as his life-long friends. Tom and Jan had just celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary the day before his passing. People will remember his larger-than-life personality and his loyalty to family and friends. He retired from K and M Northfield Dodge as auto body technician after 35 years of service. He continued his career as the informal consultant to Total Tooling Concepts Inc. throughout his retirement.
