I thought we could use this to share a story or two from the reunion weekend.

Well, I had the most fun at the parade! It was fun to dress up in *vintage* 80s attire and act like a goofball. It was great to see that Dan Graham had a huge gathering of classmates to cheer us on as we went by - I didn't see any other *groups* along the parade route...so that was fun to see!
The tour was very interesting...I couldn't get my bearings in the school (because of so many additions) until we go to where the smoking lounge was - isn't that funny?
I had a good time at the reunion, too...but I found it hard to just sit and connect with people because I was looking around so much to see if everyone else was having a good time. Considering they had to kick out a good bunch of us at the end...and the rest only left a wee bit before that, I'd say I could have kicked back a bit more!
It was great to see so many of us just hanging out...it was kind of like a high school feel without all the drama and crap...kinda how ya wish high school could've been?

Pete, you may be taller then Mike, but looking at the class photo on the bottom of Laura Phillip's profile, Kim Colby is way taller then you. :) So glad you could make it.

It was great getting together with everyone and wanted to thank all of you who put this together. Even though I did not make it to the reunion party on Saturday it sure looked like you had a great time and hopefully we can reconnect sooner. Thanks again!

What a great weekend! Thanks to all of you for making it easy to "come home!" It had been a long time, but in talking with each of you, it seemed as if it were just yesterday that we last spoke, not 20 years! Of course, my speech has a little different sound than yours now! We all influenced each other in some way into who we are today and I have to say that we all turned out pretty d... good! I am looking forward to seeing all of you again soon.

First I would like to thank everyone on the planning committee...what an awesome job you did. I know the hours you all put in and I want you to know it was a job well done. I had a blast Friday night talking with so many of you...it was like we just left high school instead of 20 years ago. The parade was a riot. The 80's girls looked hilarious and I am still a little sore from running behind the truck!! The tour of the school brought back so many happy memories, especially standing in the gym again! The reunion celebration was also a big hit and it was great reminiscing with everyone. We may have been in different "groups" 20 years ago, but this weekend we were all one! Hopefully Ringer you got your voice back!!!!! Go Rams!

I agree Kristi - what a great job the planning committee did and would our groups have been different 20 years ago?!
It was great to see everyone doing so well. We turned out pretty good! It was so much fun catching up with our great class of '88. I think everyone agrees and I think we should get together again for the 25th instead of waiting until the 30 year mark. Something informal like Friday night. I also like the idea of keeping the web site going. It may help some of us stay in touch better since all of our lives have become so busy in different ways. I know my kids keep me EXTREMELY busy which makes it hard to keep those connections. The web site would help. I am enjoying the pictures taken by Laura and Jessica. Can't wait to see more!

Was this a great reunion, or what? Lisa, Kim, Kelli, Shannon, Shawn, and Jessica... it was a pleasure working with you! And for those of you who participated in the weekend in one way or another, thank you. Whether you showed up at Last Chance for the Friday night gathering, cheered our classmates on while chugging cups of coffee at Saturday morning's parade, or enjoyed the Saturday evening extravaganza, you helped create a whole new set of memories.
And for those of you who couldn't make it ... you were missed. Come on out for the next one and see how great it is to re-connect.
In the meantime, you all be good and enjoy the ride. I look forward to hearing about your latest adventures on the website profiles!

I just heard that Cheryl Sneyd (Hill) lost her dad on 10/21. Just thought...many have already lost love ones and could be of encouragement to her. Thanks!

Hi Everyone!
My family and I are coming through this Tuesday, July 28th, on our way to OshKosh, WI for the air show. I've e-mailed some of our classmates about meeting somewhere that evening and will post our final destination as soon as we figure it out. Fortunately/unfortunately depending on how you look at it, we are trying to find a good location that is appropriate for children as I will have my 2 year old and 11 year old with me!
Hope to see you soon.
Tracy
