Hello Classmates,
In the cruise industry, an entire ship is sometimes contracted to provide a sailing for one very large group. That is just what happened to the ship upon which we were to have had our reunion. Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines chartered out the entirety of the Majesty of the Seas for the week of Jan. 23, 2012. As a consequence, we were displaced, with all of our reservations being cancelled. These circumstances were beyond our control.
Subsequent efforts to find an alternative date, accommodating those of us who had already signed up, were unsuccessful, and, regrettably, planning for this Cruise Reunion has been terminated. I share the disappointment of those who had been planning on sailing.
Hopefully, something special will be planned for a future reunion, enabling us to gather and meet once again in a festive atmosphere.
