Hi everybody! It's been a loooong time since I had contact with high school friends. With the 50th coming up, I thought I'd give it a whirl. I also plan to attend the reunion.
After high school I went to Bucknell for undergraduate work and to U. of Penn for a masters in mechanical engineering. Then I got married. I worked in engineering for several years and then Julie and I quit our jobs and went around the world for six months.
Then the first step in trying to decide what I wanted to be when I grew up. We had two great sons. One is married and the other engaged. No grandchildren yet. I worked in engineering and manufacturing management, moving from the Boston area to California.
Then another decision about what I wanted to be when I grew up- I went into software sales with a high tech startup. Very exciting times. I worked in sales management and then decided to go back to my roots. I bought a part ownership in a machine shop. Unfortunately I got divorced.
TADAWIWTBWIGU. I went into real estate! And that's where I am now. I have a wonderful girlfriend (is that what you call each other at this age????).
I love outdoor sports- mountain biking (rocks, roots, and ruts), tennis, and skiing in particular. I love travelling and am starting to do more of that. I very much enjoy concerts, particularly classical music and country and western.
I hope to hear from many of you and hope to see you next year.
