BREMERTON, Wash. - Michael Wallace, 49, of Bremerton, formerly of Greenfield, Mass., passed away on Sunday (1-6-13).He was born in Greenfield, June 13, 1963, the son of Bruce and Jeannette "Tootsie" (Chevalier) Wallace.He spent 22 years in the Navy, where he met his wife, Pattie, in California. They have two children, Alan and stepdaughter, Maria.Michael graduated from Greenfield High School in 1982, where he excelled in track and field and cross country. While in the Navy, he ran in several marathons.Michael leaves his sister, Kelly and her partner Len Adams of Turners Falls, Mass., and a brother, Jason and his wife Joanne of Gill, Mass., and their two children, Julia and Jake. He also leaves many cousins in the Franklin County area.Funeral services are to be private in Washington, where his wish was to be buried at sea. They will be held at the Navy base in Bremerton at the convenience of the family.
