Yvonne Louisa Allgood passed away quietly on March 16, 2026 in Wilmington, NC. She was born in Greensboro, NC on May 20, 1960. She was preceded in death by her parents Carney and Helen Allgood and her brother Carney (Butch) Allgood, Jr. She is survived by her sister Gerri Allgood Harrell and her nephew David Ross.

Yonnie graduated from NCSU and was a proud Wolfpack fan as well as a member of Mu Beta Psi National Honorary Musical Fraternity. She loved music and art. She was happiest when singing or painting. She adored the many rescue pets she adopted during her lifetime. She enjoyed visiting and volunteering at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. Turtles were special to her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 18 from 1-3pm at the Fairfield Park clubhouse , 1131 Island Cove, Wilmington.
