I have a wonderful life. Ended up in Austin when I transferred from Univ of Georgia to Univ of TX in 1980, and I've loved it here ever since. About 20 years ago, I kind of stumbled into the employee benefits insurance business, and it's turned out to be a great career for me. I have one of the best jobs I know.... work less than half the year, make a great living, and get to play the rest of the time! A little over 10 years ago, I started living a sober lifestyle. Yes, I managed to drink up my entire lifetime allotment of booze in a mere 38 years! Actually, it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I continue to enjoy the amazing benefits that being part of a recovering community brings.
My boyfriend Mark and I have a really fun life together. We've traveled to some amazing places, enjoy playing golf, and spending time with each other and friends. |

The Place! Oh, I laughed when I thought of this, and then I really laughed when I saw other people wrote the same thing. As you may have noticed, none of us are elaborating on the "activities" in which we partook at The Place. We can only hope the statute of limitations has long run out by now!
