GREENSBORO — Charles R. "Chuck" Jones II, 50, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2009.

The memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, October 19, at Centenary United Methodist Church with Pastor John W. Futterer officiating.

Chuck was born May 1, 1959, to the late Charles R. Jones and Vivian Rice Jones in Greensboro, N.C. He was a graduate of Wingate University. He worked in sales at Greensboro Plumbing and he loved fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Chuck is survived by his wife, Tami Reynolds Jones; children, Sydney, Hailey and Charlie; sisters, Charlene Brummitt and husband, Elliott, of Chapel Hill, and Cindy Long and husband, John, of Carmel, Ind.; and many other friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the scholarship fund established for his children at Suntrust Bank, Greensboro, N.C., in care of Tami R. Jones.

The visitation will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the church, prior to the service.

Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel is assisting the Jones family.
