CHRISTOPHER JOHN SchmidGreensboro Christopher John Schmid, 45 years old passed away on July 25th 2016. Chris did not suffer as God took him home. He passed away peacefully in his sleep from heart failure. Chris was a kind man who loved his family and friends completely. He had a passion for computers, and had recently graduated from ECPI. He graduated Summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in network security. He is survived by his wife Lynn Schmid of 25 years, his children Zackaria Harris and Alexander Schmid, his parents James and Marlene Schmid, his mother/father in-law Sandy and Tom Walton, his siblings Page Schmid, Jim Schmid, Jeff Schmid, Tressa Schmid-Turner, Michael Schmid, and a Schmid swarm of nieces and nephews. His smile and laugh will be missed. He is in heaven with his son Joade now. The visitation will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church at 10 a.m. Monday August 1st. With the services following at 11 a.m. also at Our Lady of Grace.
