Wow it's been soooo long! I went to and graduated from Wake Forest University, BA Business/Marketing.
I married at 27, had my older daughter, Courtney, and we separated just after her birth. I married the man of my dreams May 16, 1992 and we have another daughter, Morgan.
I have been selling real estate it seems all my life. I really enjoy this, but not the paperwork so much any more. I slowed down once our girls hit middle school to be with them more and have never regretted this decision.
I do all of my husband's, John, scheduling, typing, etc for his company, Piedmont Home Inspection and Environmental Services, Inc. John is a wonderful husband, father and provider. We have a farm growing Christmas Trees north of West Jefferson and an oceanfront home at Atlantic Beach. Once all goes well, we'll retire and just go back and forth between the two.
Courtney graduated from Weaver Academy. She is an incredible dancer. She is a sophmore at ECU.
Morgan is at Page, a sophmore and captain of the JV Cheerleading Squad. She's always enjoyed cheering.
I still enjoy traveling and recently took Morgan's Girl Scout Troop, which I lead, to NYC. We are on Mike & Juliet's Blog and snuck into the premier after party for the American Girl Movie! We visited the Grand Canyon this spring and the Myan Riveria last spring. We cruised Alaska long before our girls appreciated it, but would not trade it for the world! We saw each of the Florida Keys this Christmas 2008. See pics below
Cancer seems to be everywhere. I lost my dearest friend to cancer almost 2 years ago and my best friend has had inflamatory breast cancer. So I am now a Hospice Volunteer and love this work. It's more rewarding than real estate emotionally!
John and I have always attended church together and go to Lawndale Baptist. God really does need to be the center a any relationship! |

I remember Mr Banks, AP US History. I didn't place out, but enjoyed his class. I could not have gotten through this class for it not for Elizabeth Jones!!!

Cannot remember my other teachers' names, but did place out of Biology.
My husband, John, had a professional card for golf and now has our girls instead. He is a volunteer football coach for the Offensive Line at Page. He loves this, but it does take a lot of time! We are all at all the football games with Morgan cheering and him coaching! Go PIRATES! |
