Back in the saddle again and loving it! Nothing like horseback riding for me. Spent Easter weekend trail riding and camping. Absolutely loved it and I met some really great people. Can't wait to hit the trails again soon. After moving to Oak Ridge in July 2009, I began volunteering for HorseFriends. Its a really wonderful organization. A really great way to teach children with disabilities.Still with Horsefriends. We are going to be based at Flintrock Farm in 2011
With the big fifty looming closer, I began a diet exercise regimen in mid-September that has helped me lose 40 lbs so far. Much closer to the goal I have set for myself. A goal that once seemed unattainable. I have also become a Wii Fit believer. It has really helped me enjoy working out and I have introduced several of my friends to it. We exercise together. HAPPY 2010!!!! Getting thin! Let the fun begin!
2010 was a tough year for us. My daugter Nicole and I had serious medical issues that required hospitalization and surgery. I had to have surgery in April and May. Nicole had surgery in October.
Both us were thankful to ring in 2011.
2011-a slice of heaven right here on earth. Great to be here!
