Comments:
After high school, I went to Meredith College, where I roomed with our fellow classmate, Carla Barker (Glover) for four years. In the meantime, Chip attended the Citadel in Charleston, SC. Absence made the heart grow fonder, and after graduating, we made plans to get married. We were married the following year and lived in Greensboro for the next 13 years. Our first son was born in 1988 and our second son in 1993. In 1996, Chip's job took us to Eden, NC where we have been ever since. Eden is a great little town and we enjoy living here. I went back to school in 1998 to get a teaching degree and have taught at Central Elementary for the past 8 years. This year I made the switch to school librarian and am back in school again (UNCG). I'm either a glutton for punishment or just can't make up my mind about what I want to be when I grow up! Chip began working back in Greensboro a couple of years ago, so after Jake graduates from high school, we plan to head back to Greensboro where both of our families live.
