I attended and graduated from Wake Forest University with a BA in Communications and English. I have spent 25 years in sales in a variety of industries including radio,tv, arts and office supplies and recruiting. I am now in the outplacement services field for a specialty division of Manpower, Inc., helping individuals that have been laid off from large companies and need help re-entering the job market. I do a lot of volunteer work with the Boy Scouts (I am a proud new Eagle Scout mother) in fundraising. Yes, I have been the popcorn and pine needles chairperson. My heart is really with the homeless animals at the Animal Rescue and Foster Program and the homeless downtown. If I ever win the lottery, I'll never work for money again.

I studied hard and was pretty quiet. However, I remember having a lot of fun. I remember rolling people's yards with toilet paper and playing practical jokes when practical jokes weren't dangerous like they are now. I also remember that we all drove hand-me-down cars from our parents instead of a brand new Lexus, BMW or Mercedes that parents buy their children at Page these days.
