College at Univ. of Richmond, left to play music in New York 18 months before graduation (not a guaranteed sheepskin, mind you). '80s: punk rock in Manhattan, touring, dayjobs at mafia lawfirms, camera shops and state health agencies (guess which was the most honest). '90s: moved to Brooklyn, played in Irish punk and traditional bands, visited Ireland yearly (there was a war going on there), stopped eating meat, adopted Connolly, worked day jobs at human rights agencies, law firms and indy film distributors, toured the U.S. playing guitar with English ska legends Bad Manners. '00s: played with English punk legends The Spunk Lads, watched towers crumble from our rooftop across the river, bought a house near Brooklyn's highest point, topographically, Connolly passed away, adopted Sirius and Tikkanen, researched and designed vintage sports uniforms, started the design company Superba Graphics (named after Brooklyn's 1890s National League baseball team), have fought overdevelopment and the Bloomberg and Bush administrations' many proclivities, moved to Seattle WA in 2010, engaged in campaigns against Shell Oil and joined in solidarity with Black Lives Matter, have a novel circulating the writing world, play in the American band South Sound Tug & Barge, the punk band The Long Hot Summer and the Irish rock band Ockham's Razor. Dogs, cats and a rotating cast of chickens in the back yard.
