Douglas Henry Hordyk was 45 wehn he died on December 22, 2009 at Wesley Long Community Hospital in Greensboro.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on December 28, 2009 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.  Inurnment followed in the church columbarium.

Douglas was born in Passaic, New Jersey, but grew up most of his life in Greensboro.  Douglas was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.  He was loved and will be missed by all of those who knew him.

Douglas is survived by his parents, Patti and Bob Hordyk of Greensboro, and one sister, Dawn Knight and her husband, Shannon, also of Greensboro.

Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel assisted the Hordyk family.
