Lewis, Nan Hodgin
February 10, 1964 - May 7, 2021
Nan Hodgin Lewis, 57, of Greensboro, died Friday, May 7, 2021.
She was born February 10, 1964 in Lynchburg, VA, a daughter of Dorothy Hill Lewis of Greensboro and the late Fred Wilbur Lewis. She was a graduate of Page High School and UNC-Greensboro with a master's degree in history. Nan loved gardening, birds, music and was an avid reader.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sisters, Mary Lewis Beckum of North Augusta, SC and Jane Lewis Lopp and her husband, Philip of Greensboro.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Finch & Finch Chapel, Altavista, VA by the Rev. Steve Sparks with interment to follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Altavista, VA.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m at the funeral home.
