GREENSBORO — Walter L. Tatum passed away Friday, November 28,2008, after a short illness.

Memorial services to celebrate his life were held on Friday, December 5, at St. Paul Baptist Church, Inc., 1309 Larkin St., Greensboro, NC 27406.

He was the son of the late Raymond D. Tatum, Sr. and Dorothy M. Tatum.

He is survived by his wife of the home, Jacquelyn Fair- Tatum, Winston-Salem, N.C.; sisters of Greensboro, Barbara Gunthrop (Stanley), Shirley Eleazer (Edward), Rosa Watt (Dennis), Rosa Tatum, Teressa Saunders (Michael); brothers, Willie Hobbs of Brooklyn, N.Y., Raymond Tatum, Jr., Craig Tatum (Totilitha) of Greensboro; mother-in-law, Levenia Fair.

Perry J. Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
