Ray was a great guy! He dated my good friend, Pam Dawes, in high school. He married her and they had two wonderful children, Katie and Mike. Our friendship continued since Pam and I went to ECU and we roomed together our junior year. Pam and Ray saw each other every weekend which meant I got to be with them whenever he came to ECU. Ray died when he was 40. Way too early to lose a good friend!
