GREENSBORO — Mrs. Syreta "Rita" Rothrock, 77, passed away Friday, April 9, 2010 at Moses Cone Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home N. Elm Chapel with the Reverend Don Lloyd and the Reverend Don Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in Westminster Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Rothrock was born September 30, 1932 a daughter of the late Richard Layton and Pattie Aldridge Hodges, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Betsy Rothrock. She was a homemaker and had worked at Blue Bell and Tarheel Fashions. She was a member of Centenary U. M.C. and a member of the Swing- Jones fellowship.
She is survived by her husband Jack C. Rothrock of the home, two sons Neil Rothrock and wife Millie of Wytheville Va. and Patrick Rothrock of Greensboro, NC. , three grandchildren Lizzie Rothrock of Wytheville, Va., Grayson and Mallory Rothrock of Greensboro, NC. The family wishes to thank Mary Rickard for her care.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday, April 12, 2010 at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home on N. Elm.
