I am so sorry to hear of Claudine's passing. I have nothing but sweet memories about her. She will be missed by all of us. My heart goes out to her family at this time.

I was so sorry to see Maxine's post yesterday on Facebook.  Claudine was such a sweet girl in high schooll.  Prayers for her family, especially for Paul.  May her memory be eternal.

Greenville, MS.


Funeral services for Claudine Oswalt 72 years old of Greenville, MS will be 11:00 A.M. Friday March 06, 2015 at Smith Funeral Home. She was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 02, 2015 at DRMC in Greenville, MS. Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M. Friday March 06, at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery located on Hwy 82 E. 

Claudine was born March 10, 1942 to James Noel Clemons & Mrs. Dorothy Caillouet in Greenville, MS. Claudine grew up in Greenville where she attended & graduated at Greenville High School in 1960. She was a long time member of the Church of God of Prophecy, where she touched lives of many people and had a huge impact on the youth. She was a kindhearted Christian who loved to make ceramics and cook. Her family reminisced on the times they would walk in and smell candy & treats baking away. Her spirit and love will continue to be an inspiration for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents James & Dorothy Clemons. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Paul Oswalt, Sr. of Greenville, MS., 1 Son, Paul Oswalt, Jr. and his wife Patti of Greenville, MS., 2 Daughter’s, Tammy Gray and her husband Paul of Dennis, MS, Missie Knight and her husband Jay of Greenville, MS., 1 Brother, Jimmy Swain and his wife Elsie of Warren, AR., 1 Sister, Princess Swain Ward of Nashville, AR., 6 Grandchildren, Jason Oswalt and his wife Morgan, Ashley Edney and her husband Joe, Dusty Gray, Trent Gray and his wife Maegan, Madison Knight, Mary Kathryn Knight., 5 Great Grandchildren, Addison Gray, John Davis Oswalt, Brian Gray, Lyla Gray and Paizly Oswalt. 

Pastor: Wayne Clegg will officiate the service.
