I was saddened to read that we have lost another classmate.  Margaret Jo was a friend who will be missed.  I was glad to see her at the GHS reunion in 2011.  She seemed to be having a great time at the Country Club.

I am sadden to heat that Margaret Jo has passed away.  Her family and mine lived across the street from each other on Spruce Street as did Jan Webb..  We all grew up together.  I consider her a very good friend.  May God comfort her family during this time.  She is not dead but alive in Heaven with Jesus, our Lord and Savior.  Thanks for the memories Margaret Jo.

Margaret Jo was a wonderful childhood neighbor and friend (and a great support when my mother died during my high school years), and we were able to connect a few times through the years in Greenville or Memphis when I returned to visit family members. Last time I was in Greenville in Summer 2011 she and I and Jan Paul Webb met for lunch and then returned to our old neighborhood to look around and take pictures of each of us in front of our childhood homes! Very memorable and sweet time together for all of us!
