Mrs. Linda Kaye Mosley, age 75, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018. She was born November 30, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Hubert and Alice Johnson Patton.
Mrs. Mosley was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and Greenville, Mississippi. She was Christian by faith and attended the Destin Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked as a bookkeeper in her family business. Mosley Manufacturing and Machine Works. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Mosley was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jane Patton Waterer.
Mrs. Mosley is survived by loving husband of 58 years, Ernest Doyle Mosley of Greenville, Mississippi and Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; son, Jimmy Mosley and wife Cathy of Greenville, Mississippi and Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; daughters, Deborah Brownlee and husband Stewart of Missouri, Dana Hogue and husband Lee of Arkansas and Kristy Laird and husband Kevin of South Carolina, sister, Sherry Patton; ten grandchildren , Cal Tackett and wife Amy, J.D. Mosley, Brandon Mosley, Madison Hogue, Rees Hogue, Owen Laird, Ashlyn Laird, Hayden Laird, Cooper Laird and Harrison Hogue; and two great grandchildren, Parker Grace Tackett and Savannah Tackett.
A time of visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Destin Church of Christ at 150 Beach Drive, Destin, Florida 32541.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Destin Church of Christ.
Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to Memphis Oral School for the Deaf; 7901 Poplar Avenue, Germantown, Tennessee 38138.
Burial will follow in Gulf Cemetery.
Receiving of friends will be held 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, January 4, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home; 905 Main Street, Greenville, Mississippi 38702.
