In the trombone section, there were only a few of us, who competed for every honor. John, me, Bubba Barham, Billy Eubank. John, you were one of the best. Does anybody remember the day that John got stabbed in the leg in Jr. High?
Coach Dunlap gave us ALL licks for that one!
You are missed, my old compadre, my competitor, my friend.

I knew John from third grade at Ella Darling. I remember that he liked drawing planes. Does anyone know how he died? Was he married to Sandra Larson?

I remember John as easy going and a dry sense of humor.
We were in Ms Casons room together in Jr.Hi and John
had made not so good a grade on a test. Ms Cason told
the class that John had the highest I.Q. in our class.
John was a good friend. We lived in the same neighbor hood growing up.I remember once I traded him an electric train for a short wave radio. He was a good buddy and
will be missed.
