Son of Howard Adams and Emma Williams
Helicopter (Huey) pilot who was shot down in Vietnam.
He and his co-pilot survived the crash but were both
killed in a firefight with the VC (Viet Cong).
The following is from the Crew Chief who survived
both the crash and firefight:
Davey, so many years have past remembering the day
12/12/68. Not a day goes by without remembering you,
Michael Murphy and the tragic results of that day. We
fought a valiant fight after going down, but I guess it
just wasn't in the cards for you and Mike to survive. There
are many days that it sucks to be one of the survivors.
I can't help but wonder if I could have done something
different.
Rest In Peace, My Brother, until we meet again.

Davey and I were friends all through high school. One day while I was working, at Greenley's, he stopped by to say good bye. I told him I will wait for his call when he returns. He gave me a hug and said it may never happen. I told him he would and to be safe.
Life has many twists and turns and we do not know what tomorrow has for us. Rest well in God's hands Davey
