Linda I am saddened by hearing of your passing. You were the first girl I ever kissed, romatically. You also fell and broke your nose while at a party at my house in 1962, or 1963, I think. I never forgave myself for that! Running across the fields across from my house. I am so sorry that you are gone - so young, so much a loss.
Linda was a fantastic lady as well as my wife for about 8 years. We married while at Mississippi State and were co op students which helped us both finish with our degrees in 1969. We ended up in Houston Texas where I was an Engineer at Texas Instruments and she was an Accountant at Duval , a copper mining company. We had a great life together but when TI wanted me to go work in Singapore for a couple of years Linda did not want to go . She was dedicated to her career was not going to follow me or have Kids. This told us that we now had seperate paths and we decided on a friendly divorce so we could go in the direction that we wanted to take. We were great friends after our divorce and had dinner often. That is untill I remarried and soon moved from Houston to Colorado Springs to join a semiconductor startup called Inmos. I lost touch with Linda over time but never forgot my first true love and her giving and loving spirit. I really hope that the rest of her life after we parted was as good as mine has been. For those of you that knew Linda know that she was a kind and gentle spirit but with lots of energy and a nasty temper if you got on her bad side. I was blessed by knowing and loving Linda and having her as a part of my Life.
