We at Greenville High School had many friends who were not with us throughout our twelve years of school. Many of them were from Air Force families stationed at Greenville Air Force Base. We are grateful for all the service and sacrifices that these families made for our country. Mary Helen (Cherry) Ready is from one of those families. She was with us from sixth grade through the ninth grade. After that, she attended several other schools. Mary now lives in Destin, Florida. Every Saturday she has a column in The Destin Log. Last week her column was about 50th reunions. She gave me permission to share it with all of you.  Hopefully, Mary will be able to join us in August.
