PEGGY HANEY OBITUARY

Peggy Haney, 73, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was a fighter until the very end, but God knew it was time to take her home.
She was born in Greenville, Mississippi February 27, 1949. To say she will be missed is an understatement. She was the root of her family and touched the lives of everyone she met. She was married for 53 years to the love of her life, Jerry Haney, and they had 3 children together.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Douglas Haney; her children, Kelly Hobbs (Eddie), Kimberly Connor(Donnie) and Jerry Douglas Haney Jr. "Doug"; and her sister, Patricia Williams. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren that were truly the light of her life, Tanson Hobbs, Donnie Connor III "Tripp", Cody Hobbs, Sarah Connor and Libby Haney; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Peggy is preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Dean Vincent; father, John A Vincent; granddaughter, Ashley Hobbs; and brother, Thomas A Kelly, Jr.
Services will be held at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Florida Thursday April 7, 2022. Visitation will be at 10:30 with funeral services beginning at 11:00 with Pastor Mike Wiggins officiating. Burial will be at Serenity Gardens immediately following services.
Peggy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Please pray for our family in the days and weeks to come.
