HOLLANDALE — Funeral services for John Wesley Phillips, 66, of Hollandale, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mortimer Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at Select Specialty Hospital, Jackson. Burial will be at Lakeview Gardens, Greenville, under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home. ?Phillips was born Oct. 26, 1948, to John Sr. and Helen Phillips. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1967 and married his high school sweetheart, Diane Pruden, in 1969. ?He was the owner of Phillips Construction for many years. He loved building homes and making people’s dreams come true. He was also a member of the Greenville Yacht Club. ?He is survived by his wife, Diane Phillips; a son, Michael Phillips; a daughter-in-law Sandra; his mother, Helen Taylor; two sisters Shirley Breithaupt and Janie Sanders; two brothers Greg Phillips and Wayne Phillips; three grandchildren, Tiffany, Wesley and Wade Phillips; and two special friends, Donald and Sherry Oakes.?
