Funeral services for Edwin William Tindall, 65, of Greenville will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 14 at First Presbyterian Church, Greenville. He died Friday, April 11 after a brief illness. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.

Mr. Tindall was born in Greenville, Mississippi, on April 6, 1949, to Charles Sumner Tindall, Jr. and Mary Louise Castlen Tindall. He graduated from Greenville High School, Vanderbilt University, and the University of Mississippi School of Law. He practiced law as a partner in Lake Tindall, LLP for 35 years, and he served as an officer of the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and served as a Deaconthere. He will be remembered as an avid golfer, duck hunter, and spectator at every event in which his children or grandchildren participated. Nothing was more important to him than his family and his friends.

He is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jane Miley Tindall. They are the parents of Jane Miley Tindall Wise (Josh) of Tupelo and Edwin William Tindall, Jr. of Greenville. Mr. Tindall is also survived by two granddaughters, Margaret Tindall Wise and Mary Campbell Wise of Tupelo. His brother, Charles Sumner Tindall III (Becky) of Greenville also survives.

The Reverend Doctor John Skelly will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church Memorial Committee, 1 John Calvin Circle, Greenville, MS 38701, the Washington School Foundation, 1605 East Reed Road, Greenville, MS 38703, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
