Linda Kay Ashley, 70, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013. She was born November 27, 1942, the daughter of J.B. and Isabel (Gaddis) Thornton.

Kay was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Sachse, Texas Volunteer Fire Department.

She is survived by her daughters, Kristy and her husband Chris Shotwell of Manila Arkansas, and Kimberly Ashley of Little Rock, Arkansas; 3 grandchildren, Eva Michele Shotwell, Alison Shotwell and J.T. Shotwell; brother Dwayne and his wife Janie Thornton of Fort Worth, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Kenneth Ashley.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel. Interment will follow at the Winfield Cemetery.
