I'm a writer/editor for a legislative research firm in Richardson. We're a membership organization and have over 100,000 members - mostly small business owners.
I write the hard copy and some of the website stories. I Love my job - fun/weird people. Who would have thought politics would be interesting. Actually, it's the facts, not the politicians, that are interesting. We're unbiased, nonpartisan, strictly informational.
In my past life, I was a freelance writer (D Magazine, Dallas Morning News, lots of corporate clients) and a construction photographer . I had a small company - CC Photography. To take my pictures, I've been on top of some of the tallest buildings in Dallas/Ft. Worth - and stuck in several of the elevators.
I've been married all my life to a fun guy who likes to do everything - and Thinks he's great at most of it. (He's usually right, but I Beat him at golf yesterday :))
We raised a scientist and a beach bunny. Carri, the beach bunny has moved back to Texas from LA and designs websites now. Brandon (Brando) is married to a lovely biochemical engineer from Chile and they have a new son.
I loved my Greenville High School years and I would love to hear from anyone.
