Few people will remember Trent. He passed away when we were in 9th grade. I remember being in Mark Phillips biology class when the news was delivered. We were all shocked. I had known Trent since elementary school at Bowie. He was a good kid that had too much on his plate. I am still saddened at the loss of what he may have become.
My memories of Trent are from Bowie, more specifically, Mr. Caldwell's 5th grade class. Trent sat behind me the entire year and used to get on my last good nerve! LOL! We had some good times in that class. I was sad when I heard that he had passed away.
I met Trent in Junior High School in 7th Grade Football. He was one strong son of a ....., He had maxed out more than anyone else on the weight machine. I was at home when I heard what had happened. I couldn't believe it. I will always wonder how far he would have gone what he would have become.
Trent was my friend. In grade school at Bowie we were together all of the time. If I wasn't at his house, he was at mine. I remember we use to think of what we would be when we grew up. Trent use to tell me he was going to be a truck driver carrying livestock. I always thought that was kind of weird. Then we both agreed we were going to be cops or perhaps detectives. His death was a tragic thing for me. I think of him still. Well, Trent I carried out our dream and became that cop for you and me. I hope you are proud of me. We had so much fun and then other issues moved in between us. I wished it could have been different. The world would have liked having you around. Miss you friend.
