Janecia, Shelly and I spent many lunches together, oftentimes riding in Shelly's car or Janecia's little Ford Escort style car with the license tag "TUFF". Janecia was anything but "TUFF". After high school, Janecia worked at the pharmacy and I would always look forward to seeing her bright and cheery face. After I was married and we moved out of our apartment, she and Shelly took over the lease and moved in together until Shelly's marriage. I remember the two of them had it fixed up so cute, even with a lace tablecloth. At Janecia's memorial, the pastor read a passage from her diary about how thankful she was to God that he had allowed her to find and marry her true love. As he said at the service, God gave her her one wish and her diary evidenced her gratitude and acknowledgment that her life was then complete. When she was taken on the day of her wedding, it was knowing that God had granted her wish and she was truly happy. She was truly an angel. I can think of few others that had the gentleness of spirit that Janecia had. I have missed her all of these years and cherish my fond memories of her.

I agree she had a gentle spirit. She was so sweet and kind. I had the honor of working with her at McGaughey's. We saw all kinds of people come in and she was always kind to them. She was a special young lady. I look forward to seeing her in heaven one day!
