I was so sadden when I saw that Dickie had died. I couldn't believe it. I've tired to look him up a few times when in Greenville but never did find him. He was my first love but not sure if he knew that.

Big Dick---we had some fun, didn't we? Wish I could tell you now how much I loved you then-and always will.
I am beyond sad you are gone. You will NEVER ever be forgotten by this ol' gal. I'll have a Cuervo for you.
Until we meet again.....

Dickie and I had reconnected on MySpace, and one day then all of a sudden I didn't receive any comments from him and so I sent a message to one of his other friends and they told me what had happened. It broke my heart!!! He was such a wonderful person and I loved him very much!!! He will be sooooo missed!!! RIP Dickie!

Many a good time spent with Dickie. One of the funniest persons that I've ever known. I was living in Oregon when I heard of his passing and am sad that I didn't get to see him much after the late '90s.

I first met Dickie in 7th grade football. He was part clown, but mostly he was really a likeable guy. I talked to Dickey back in 2007, and he and I were discussing truck driving. He wanted to go on the truck with me on a run to see if he might driving for a living. He was thinking seriously about coming to work with my company as a truck driver trainee. I tried to contact him when I was on a run through Commerce, but never could get in touch. I had no idea he was already gone. I'll miss you Dickie. I think about you a lot.
