Welcome GHS 1958 Alumni!!

Are you a graduate of Greenwich High School (Connecicut) from 1958?  Aha!  You've found the right place to be.  Welcome aboard.

This website has been created to serve as a meeting place for those who graduated GHS in 1958.  There are no fees associated with the website and personal information about members is kept confidential.  Take a few minutes to check us out.

The key to this website is the database of all GHS 1958 graduates.  All names have been (or are in the process of being) entered in the database and the website.  If you were in the 1958 graduating class your name is in the data base.  You can check it out by clicking on the JOIN HERE link in the upper right of this page.  You will then find a listing of all 1958 graduates.  Find your name and click on it.  Your name will then appear and you will be instructed to click here now.   You will then have a chance to add information about yourself - or to update information that has already been entered (from the 50th Anniversary program).

That's all there is to it!  You then have full access to the website - you can send private messages to others in the 1958 class, access password protected pages, you can help update the website by sending an automated invitation to friends you continue to be in touch with, automatically link to your Facebook page, you can post announcements, start dialogues/discussions, and so much more.  Enjoy!

If you have a problem/question about the website, please send an email to Joe Levine (  I'll try to help.

Looking forward to seeing many old friends here on our website.

All the best -

Joe Levine

43 On Board!

Hi Everyone -

Wishing you all a Happy and Healthy 2019!

Things continue to be rather slow on our GHS 1958 website.  Anything you can do to stimulate more interaction would be a real help.  Currently we have 43 classmates who have registered for our website.

Hopefully it will continue to grow.

1) Even though computers aren't everyone's "cup of tea", I am sure you are finding that the design of this website is quite easy to use.  And, most importantly - there's really nothing that you will do that will cause our website to self-destruct.  So...take time to do some exploring.  Try posting a photo of yourself, sending a message to a friend, updating your profile.  And, if you get stuck - send me an email and I'll try and help (

2) Some of you are very cautious about signing up for a website like this, fearing that your own computer or email system may be compromised.  I've been administering websites operated by ClassCreator (the group that is responsible for the framework of our website) for the past 8 years and I have been very impressed with the protections they have built into their system.  The only people that have full access to our information are our own alumni who have registered.  Email addresses are always protected.  You won't be getting junk mail or scams because of our website.

3) What's the catch?  The only catch to our use of the website are the ads that appear.  It's the way ClassCreator is able to generate revenue.

4) See a name you remember?  Send them a message and say HELLO..  They will receive a notification that your message is waiting for them on the website (and all they have to do is click on a link that is provided).  On the left side bar click on "Message Center".  Then  click on "Compose Message".

5) Your help in recruiting more former classmates to our website is key to our success.  Click on  "Missing Classmates" (at the top of the page) to see whose name is there (and there are a lot of names!).  See someone you are still in touch with?  Click on their name and then follow the prompts to send them an email.

6) And finally, some statistics - a total of 1896 website visits have been recorded since we started.  Yes, there are 43 who have registered for the website - but 243 who have yet to register.

I hope to see you online!

All the best -

Joe (

In order to ensure you receive important messages from our class web site, as well as messages sent directly to you from other classmates, it's important you whitelist the email address (that's a .net, not a .com).

What is whitelisting? Whitelisting simply means you are telling your email program to accept all emails coming from our class web site and our classmates. The technique for whitelisting varies by email program, but generally you will see the term "Whitelist", "Safe List", or "Safe Sender's List". This is where you want to be sure you have added the email address

Class Creator, the system that helps us operate our class web site, uses the address when sending out email messages. Be assured that all emails sent through our site are valid — you will not receive spam email. Whitelisting is the single most important thing you can do to ensure you don't miss anything happening on our site or miss receiving your emails from fellow classmates.

Stop and take a moment to whitelist right now, and ensure you stay connected!
